Simon was appointed Chief Executive in May 2012 after joining 3i in October 2011 as Chief Investment Officer. Chair of the Group's Risk Committee, Executive Committee and Investment Committee. Chair of
the Supervisory Board of Peer Holding I B.V., the Dutch holding company for the Group’s investment in Action.
Prior to joining 3i, Simon was Chair of Greenhill & Co International LLP, having previously been Co-Chief Executive Officer of Greenhill & Co. Inc. Before founding the European operations of Greenhill & Co, he was the Managing Director of Baring Brothers International Limited. Formerly a non-executive director of the British Land Company PLC and Inchcape plc.
Simon has a law degree from London University and an MBA from London Business School.

Rob joined 3i in 2017 as the Managing Partner for North American Infrastructure. He is a member of 3i’s Executive Committee. At 3i, he has led the US infrastructure team’s investments in Smarte Carte, Regional Rail and EC Waste.
Prior to joining 3i, Rob led Hastings Funds Management’s infrastructure investment activities in North America & Europe and was a member of Hastings’ Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
Previously, Rob founded the infrastructure M&A practice at Morgan Stanley and Greenhill where he was a Managing Director, Head of Infrastructure Investment Banking for the Americas at both firms. He started his infrastructure career at Goldman Sachs after spending five years as an active-duty, Naval officer in the U.S. Navy Nuclear Submarine Program.
Rob holds an MBA from The Wharton School, a masters equivalent in nuclear engineering from the Bettis Reactor Engineering School, and a B.E., magna cum laude, in chemical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

Responsible for 3i’s legal, compliance, internal audit, and company secretarial functions. A member of the Executive Committee since joining 3i in 2007.
Prior to joining 3i, was a Senior Managing Director, running GE’s European Leveraged Finance business after serving as European General Counsel for GE. Prior to GE, was a partner at the law firms Travers Smith and Latham & Watkins.

Jasi Halai is Chief Operating Officer. She was appointed to the Board in May 2022 and is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Group Risk Committee and ESG Committee.
Jasi joined 3i in 2005 and has held a variety of posts in the business, most recently as Group Financial Controller and Operating Officer. Prior to joining 3i, she worked for CDC Group (now British International Investment) and at Actis. Formerly a non-executive director of Porvair PLC.
Jasi is a non-executive director at Barratt Developments PLC. She is also a Chartered Management Accountant and holds an MSc in investment management from the CASS Business School.

James is Group Finance Director of 3i Group plc. He was appointed to the Board in May 2022 and is a member of the Executive Committee, Investment Committee, Group Risk Committee and ESG Committee. James joined 3i in 2017 and was Group Strategy Director until June 2022.
Prior to joining 3i, James was Chief Operating Officer of KKR in Europe and, before that, Co-CEO of Avoca Capital. Earlier in his career, James was a corporate finance professional for 20 years, principally with Greenhill & Co. and Schroders. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1992. Formerly a non-executive director of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust.
He holds a First Class Joint Honours degree in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Surrey.

Tony joined 3i in 1998 and became Chief Operating Officer in 2010. He is a member of the 3i Group Executive Committee, Investment Committee and the Private Equity Leadership Team. Tony currently sits on the boards of Scandlines and MPM.
Outside 3i, Tony is a member of the International Private Equity Valuations (IPEV) Board; Invest Europe's Professional Standards Committee; and the Private Equity Reporting Group (PERG), an independent body that reviews transparency and disclosures within the UK Private Equity industry.
Before joining 3i, Tony worked at KPMG where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant.
Tony has a Geography degree from Loughborough University.

Julien Marie is Chief Human Resources Officer and is a member of the Executive Committee. Julien has overall responsibility for the firm’s talent strategy, the HR operational support and the Human Resources team. He works across all geographies and Business lines.
Prior to joining 3i, Julien worked at Bouygues Construction and Bouygues Telecom for six years.
Julien has a degree in Politics from Sciences Po Paris and a MA in Human Resources from the University of Paris Pantheon-Assas.

Scott Moseley joined the Infrastructure team in 2007 and was made Partner in 2012. Scott became Managing Partner and Co-Head of European Infrastructure in July 2022 and is also a member of 3i’s Executive Committee and Investment Committee.
Together with Bernardo Sottomayor, Scott is responsible for managing a team with approximately £6bn in invested capital across four Infrastructure funds, including our flagship fund, 3i Infrastructure plc, which has achieved asset level returns of 19% p.a. since its inception.
Scott has direct investment experience across various sub-sectors including Digital Infrastructure (Tampnet and GCX), Energy (Elenia and ESVAGT), Transportation (Eversholt Rail Group) and Social Infrastructure (Cross London Trains).

Managing Partner, Co-Head of European Infrastructure

Bernardo became Managing Partner, Co-Head of European Infrastructure alongside Scott Moseley in July 2022 and is a member of 3i Group's Executive and Investment Committees. Bernardo joined 3i in 2015 as a Partner with responsibility for origination and execution of new investments across Europe, principally economic infrastructure businesses.
Bernardo has 18 years of infrastructure investment experience and was most recently a Partner at Antin Infrastructure which manages funds investing in infrastructure opportunities across Europe.
Prior to Antin, Bernardo was Managing Director, Head of Acquisitions for Deutsche Bank’s European infrastructure fund. His prior experience was in utilities, as Head of M&A at Energias de Portugal, and in infrastructure advisory with UBS and Citigroup.
Bernardo holds an economics degree from the Nova School of Business and Economics in Lisbon, Portugal.

Peter joined 3i Germany in 1998. He was appointed co-Managing Director 3i Deutschland in May 2009 and has led 3i's Private Equity business since April 2019. He leads our consumer sector, is a member of the Investment Committee and the 3i Group Executive Committee.
During his time at 3i, Peter has taken a leading role across more than 15 transactions including YDEON (GartenHaus), Luqom (Lampenwelt), Christ, Scandlines, Amor and MotorenWerkeMannheim (MWM). Further transactions in which Peter has been involved include 3i’s investments in arrivia (ICE), Action, Basic-Fit, NORMA, Hyva and Azelis. Peter currently sits on the Boards of Luqom and YDEON.
Prior to joining 3i, Peter worked for Procter & Gamble and Deutsche Bank.
He holds a degree in Business and Administration from the University of Bamberg.
